1st map - de_inferno (16:5)
2nd map - de_nuke (16:7)
In the first quarter-final match, the top-seeded mTw were expected to continue winning with ease as they did in their first match against Gamerzone. There was no surprise this time either, as the Finnish team munkka was unable to put up a much better fight, also winning 12 rounds in 2 maps, just like the young Swedes a few days earlier.
After winning the pistol round on de_inferno and taking a 3:0 lead thanks to a successful pistol-round, munkka didn't do much more in the first map as mTw won the half 11:4 and later made the final score 16:5.
On de_nuke, the closest munkka came was a 5:3 result in favor of mTw at the start of the map. The Danes' CT-side once more ended with an 11:4 lead and they also won the following pistol-round. Finns made a minor attempt to get back in the match at that point, but it was too late and mTw didn't allow them to string some rounds together, thus it ended at 16:7.

Even though the end result was the same as against Gamerzone (32-12 round difference), mTw were less dominant (or rather munkka put up a better fight), at least according to statistics. The Danes had a 1.24 rating this time, compared to 1.41 against Gamerzone, but that was still enough to put them up as the best rated team overall after two rounds of play.
At the top of the scoreboard there was no surprise, as it is again occupied by Martin "trace" Heldt. He played well in both maps, slightly better on de_nuke (POV demo) and his 1.56 rating in this match is the shared-best of all players in the quarter-finals.
In fact, the entire mTw team played well again, all of them with ratings above 1.00, while other than Heldt, Oliver "minet" Minet and Alexander "ave" Holdt particularly stood out. Minet was top rated on de_inferno (POV demo) and he recorded an excellent highlight on de_nuke (1vs3 defuse). Holdt also had a highlight round, on de_inferno (POV demo, 3-kill pistol round), and played quite well on de_nuke.
munkka's only mention-worthy player was their hero from the previous round, Timi "aslak" Verkkoperä, who once again played well (considering the result) by having a 0.97 rating (35% better than team average). He was the team's best on both maps and even managed a highlight during the first map when he practically by himself won munkka's only CT round (aslak's awp highlight).
As far as Dreamteam is concerned, only three players earned some money from this match, and those are mTw's Heldt, Minet and Holdt. Heldt for the second time in a row earned around €10k, again justifying his price as the team's most expensive player (€131k before this match). Minet brought €6.3k, while Holdt was the best choice considering his price of €110k and he earned €7k.

1st map - de_train (16:8)
2nd map - de_dust2 (16:2)
In the most one-sided match of the quarter-finals, RG-Esports overran their countrymen empty. Even though empty were given good chances before the match to at least make the match close, considering they previously surprised higher-seeded x6tence, RG-Esports didn't allow it.
The Swedish-Norwegian team won first halves on both maps with 13:2, which left very little room for empty to get back in the game at any point. They did attempt to do so on de_train, getting to a 6:0 second half lead, but RG-Esports retaliated with 3 rounds in a row and closed the map 16:8. On de_dust2, after losing the second-pistol round, empty didn't have any hope remaining and the map ended 16:2 in favor of RG-Esports.

![]() | 14 - 37 | -23 | 0.40 |

RG-Esports was the most dominating team of this round, getting a 1.38 team rating, while empty had a disappointing 0.59. The newly formed Swedish-Norwegian mixture is showing plenty of promise, as they seem to have strengthened the team in right places compared to the already good alchemists lineup that previously won WGF.
One of the new additions to the lineup, although also the only one who remained from the previous RG-Esports squad, Markus "pronax" Wallsten was their best rated player in this match (1.56 rating). That is quite a high rating for an in-game leader, it was even high enough to make Wallsten shared-best of all the quarter-finalists. He particularly excelled on the CT-side of de_train (20-7, POV demo), while on de_dust2 Tommy "tacky" Mosgaard exploded by having a 24-6 overall score (POV demo). Mosgaard was also the best entry-killer of the quarter-finals, with 8 round-openers, which all led to a round win.
In adition to Wallsten and Mosgaard, Andreas "MODDII" Fridh, the team's first star, also had a great match, as did their best player from last round, André "BARBARR" Möller. Möller was the best awper of this round of play, recording 15 awp kills in his 42 rounds (0.36 awpKPR) and he also continued as a great entry fragger. After having 11 first kills previously, he got another 6 now, which cemented him as the best entry killer of the competition so far.
In the other camp, empty's best player was once again the former SK-member Mattias "Snajdan" Andersen, who didn't shine as much as in his previous match, but still had the best rating and recorded a highlight round (4 kills on train).
Also perhaps worth mentioning is the lack of impact by Mathias "seAzon" Clausen, who was expected to be the team's number one fragger, but he only accomplished a 0.40 rating.
In terms of Dreamteam, having Wallsten or Mosgaard was a brilliant decision, as they were both relatively cheap (Wallsten €99k, Mosgaard €104k) and have each earned an impressive €9.9k. RG-Esport's most expensive player, Fridh, was slightly worse in that respect, but still earned a great €7.9k, while Möller brought €6.1k.

1st map - de_inferno (16:8)
2nd map - de_tuscan (16:10)
The two matches that took place in the later hours of Sunday were a bit more interesting than the earlier ones. One of them was a clash between favored Moscow Five and Norwegian squad Deathwish. The higher-seeded Russians, who dropped only 5 rounds in their previous match against Danish team X, had a slightly tougher task now.
The match started on de_inferno, a map on which both teams showed great CT-sides a few days earlier. This time the Norwegians earned the right (by winning the knife-round) to start on the defensive side and the early rounds of the match promised an exciting encounter. After losing the pistol-round, Deathwish surprised the Russians by winning the 3rd round and they went on to gain a 5:2 lead. Some close rounds followed and the half ended 8:7 in favor of Deathwish. But then, Moscow Five pulled out their A-game and displayed a flawless CT-side (similar to their 14:1 mauling of X) by winning 9:0 for an overall 16:8 map-win.
Second map was de_tuscan, which Deathwish previously played as a decider against dateam in 1/8 finals, when they won only after double overtime. Same as in the previous map of this encounter, Moscow Five took both pistol-rounds but Deathwish still managed to keep it close, even though this time they never gained the lead. First half ended 9:6 for the Russians, while in the second they won 7:4 as Terrorists and clinched their spot in the semi-final with a 16:10 result.

![]() | 24 - 41 | -17 | 0.62 |
![]() | 22 - 39 | -17 | 0.59 |
This was statistically the closest match of the four, as these teams had the most even ratings (Moscow Five 1.14, Deathwish 0.85).
Moscow Five's star player Mihail "Dosia" Stolyarov continued with great performances, and even though not as impressive as in the first round, he was still his team's best rated player (de_inferno POV) and he remains the best rated of the tournament so far (1.76 rating). His best supporter this time was Roman "ROMJkE" Makarov, who also played well in both maps, especially on de_tuscan where he was the top rated player (POV demo).
Deathwish were strengthened by the return of their in-game leader Bernard "serpen" Kvalvik who missed the first round match against dateam, but now he proved to be a major reinforcement. In addition to making in-game decisions for the team, Kvalvik played excellent individually in both maps, finishing up with a 1.35 rating despite his team's loss. On de_inferno he was the key man for winning the first half during which he had a 20-9 score (POV demo) and he was the best rated of both teams in that map.
These three players mentioned each earned a significant amount of money in Dreamteam. Mihail "Dosia" Stolyarov earned the most (€9.5k), but he was quite unaffordable if you didn't already have him in the team (€138k). On the other hand, having Makarov or Kvalvik was a lot more likely as they both had a price around €102k, while they earned €8.3k and €7.5k, respectively.

1st map - de_nuke (16:12)
2nd map - de_inferno (16:7)
The last quarter-final match-up in which SK Gaming and Online Kingdom clashed, was expected to be the most interesting one. The Finns were the most favored team among the four lower-seeds, and considering SK's troubles against gatherproffs in the previous round, they were given the best chances to pull out a suprise win.
However, SK wouldn't hear of it, and after an initial 5:0 lead for Online Kingdom as T on de_nuke, the Swedes took over and won the half 9:6. In the second half they went up to a 15:7 lead quite easily, although then OK made a slight run of 5 consecutive rounds to put some fear in SK fans' eyes. But, SK players weren't affected by this, as they then closed out the map at 16:12.
On the second map, de_inferno, SK as Terrorists ran over Online Kingdom 13:2 and then won the next pistol-round. OK made another dying attempt at a comeback by winning 5 rounds in a row, but SK put a stop to it on time and won with a 16:7 result.

Online Kingdom did manage to take the most rounds from their higher-seeded opponent as expected (32:19 overall round difference), but they weren't able to make the match very interesting.
They did however have a great foundation for that, being the only defeated team that had more entry frags than their opponent (29 entry frags for Online Kingdom, 22 for SK). However, their poor conversion of entry frags into round-wins (41%, 12/29) made SK's job much easier.
Another thing that made SK's job easier was the performance of Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund, who continued with his form from the first round, once again carrying his team to victory (1.54 rating, 35% better than team's average). Alesund was top rated in both maps (de_nuke POV, de_inferno POV), although this time he had some more help from his teammates, mostly Johan "face" Klasson and Dennis "dennis" Edman.
SK's second star player Patrik "f0rest" Lindberg showed a better performance on this occasion compared to the gatherproffs match, having a solid 1.08 rating now, while on the other hand their in-game leader, Robert "RobbaN" Dahlström disappointed largely, at least fragging-wise by having a quite poor 0.68 rating.
Online Kingdom's best player was unsurprisingly Jirka "jigetus" Ryhti with a 1.01 rating as their best on both maps. He had a great highlight round on de_inferno which sparked the 5-round mini-comeback in the second half right after losing the pistol-round (4 deagle kills).
Alesund certainly was and probably still is the player to have in Dreamteam, even though he was the most expensive one from the very beginning, he has fulfilled everyone's expectations by earning another €13.9k after earning €19.7k in the first round. The other notable Dreamteam acquisition from this match was Klasson who earned a very solid €7.3k.
The semi-final match-ups, scheduled for Thursday, April 7th, will pit the teams that were initialy the top 4 seeds against eachother in the following way:
